Wasp Nest Treatment in Hazlemere

Hazlemere, Holmer Green and Widmer End sit on the plateau with woodland and commons running through the housing, and a high proportion of bungalows and low houses with generous gardens.

A bungalow changes this job in a way that is mostly good news.

Bungalows

Lower Roof, Easier Job, Closer Nest

A single-storey roofline is within reach of a normal ladder everywhere, which means there is no access question and no chance of the price moving. On a bungalow, £90 is £90 wherever the nest is on the building.

The less good news is proximity. A nest at bungalow eaves height is about two and a half metres up, which is directly above the back door, the patio and the windows people open. The same nest on a two-storey house would be over the bedrooms and out of the way.

The loft matters too: a bungalow loft runs over the whole footprint, so a roof nest is above the living space rather than above other bedrooms, and people hear it much sooner. That is genuinely an advantage — it tends to get found in July rather than September.

Woodland edge gardens here also produce the ground and hedge nests, particularly in the commons-side properties.

Short answers

Hazlemere Questions

It is right above the back door.

Common on a bungalow, and worth doing quickly for that reason rather than because the nest is unusual.

Does a bungalow cost less?

It is the same £90, but there is no chance of an access charge, because everything is within ladder reach.

Do you cover Holmer Green and Widmer End?

Yes, both, along with the surrounding lanes.
