Why a New House Still Gets Mice

A new house has fewer holes in it, but the ones it has are in predictable places and are often left open by the trades who made them: the service entry for gas, water and electricity; the soil stack penetration; the condensate pipe through the wall; the gap at the bottom of the cavity closer; and cable entries drilled after handover for broadband or an alarm.
