Bed Bug Heat Treatments in Watford

Heat Treatment in Watford

Watford has the largest flatted sector on our patch, a substantial HMO market, a dense town centre and a good deal of hotel stock. Almost everything about it is the environment bed bugs do best in.

Nearly all of the work here is in shared structures, which means the question is rarely just how bad is this room. It is how far has it got and who else needs to know.

Blocks and managed property

Why the Managing Agent Matters

In a purpose-built or converted block, the parts of the building that let bed bugs move between flats are not yours. Riser cupboards, service voids, communal corridors and the gaps around soil stacks belong to the building, and only whoever manages it can get at them.

So in a block the useful call is often two calls: one to arrange your own treatment, and one to tell the managing agent, because if three flats on a riser have it and only one is treated the outcome is already decided.

We are used to working with agents and blocks, to inspecting more than one flat in a visit, and to setting out what was found in writing where a freeholder or a board needs it.
